SPORTS COACHING ACADEMY

 

An amazing program for individuals with a passion for Coaching, Sport & Fitness.

Each year we will hand pick 20 students to complete their academic qualifications at our fully equipped training venue, The course will cover various sports with each individual able to chose one which will be their specialist sport.

You will also complete Fitness Courses, First Aid and Officiating qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport – worth up to 3 A Levels, and will facilitate an entrance into University.
    • Functional skills level 2 – Essential progression if you did not manage to attain a C grade in English or Maths.

 

 

 

WHO CAN JOIN THE ACADEMY?

Open to individuals with a passion for coaching aged between 16–18 years, the Academy Programme is a must for any Coaching enthusiast. A Coaching seminar/Interview, medical and GCSE results will be required, as places will be offered based on Knowledge, Enthusiasm, Ability and potential.

 

WHICH COLLEGE HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR THE ACADMEY? 

The SCA has its own learning facilitiy in which a Full Fitness Tutor will deliver the course and provide all the learning materials in order for the students to complete it.
The Academy has great facilities including a Strength & Conditioning Gym, Two x 3G Pitches, Boxing Gym, Sports Rehabilitation centre with Physio Therapists, Sports Therapists, Sports Scientists, Nutritionists and a great educational suite to accompany the excellent learning style.

The Academy programme consists of 10/12 hours per week training and 16 hours per week education based at Full Fitness SCA.
Our program has been developed for individuals to train/learn and gain work experience four/five times per week like professional coaches.
